Meet Laura
Laura Anderson is a programme director and transformation consultant with 25 years in banking, aviation, energy and communications. She leads organisational, digital and cultural change in highly regulated organisations, on programmes with budgets up to £100M.
Since 2022 she has directed transformation at ICAO, the United Nations agency that sets global civil aviation standards. Its 2023 to 2025 programme ran to 40 projects, met all four target outcomes in full and came in at $42.2M against a $54M cost ceiling.
Before ICAO she led Ofgem's organisational transformation through the energy supply crisis and integrated Virgin Money's 182-branch network serving 6.6 million customers. She now works on interim, fractional and non-executive terms as programme director, chief of staff or chief people officer.

LAURA ANDERSON, MBA, LLB, BSc (Hons), FCMI
Laura holds an MBA from Edinburgh Business School, an LLB from the University of Strathclyde and a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from Heriot-Watt University. She is researching organisational culture change for a PhD at Bayes Business School, City St George's, University of London.
A regulatory and data specialist by background, she began in credit risk at Dunfermline Building Society, where she built its first affordability calculator. At Nationwide she rose to Regional Director for Scotland, Northern Ireland and North England, with personal accountability under the Senior Managers and Certification Regime.
Laura is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and of the Change Management Institute. She is a former Non-Executive Director on Ofcom's Advisory Committee for Scotland, a former Royal Air Force Reserve officer and an adviser on the UN80 reform agenda.
